This free high precision online scientific complex number calculator was revised as of 8/10/2023.
It supports levels of accuracy up to 200,000 digits for basic functions and 50,000 digits for most complicated functions.
Supported functions include basic arithmetic, powers, roots, exponentials, logarithms, trigonometric functions and their inverses, hyperbolic functions and their inverses, base conversions between base 10 and other bases (up to 62), and prime number verification and lookup
for numbers no more than 1000 digits long. All angles are expressed in radians.
It supports the use of scientific notation for input and output. Thus, the number "-.00043215678" can also be specified as "-432.15678e-6". Negative numbers are specified by entering a single hyphen in the first position. You must have javascript enabled in your browser in order to use the calculator.
Wait times for calculations are no more than 60 seconds for most calculations, but it depends on various factors such as function selected, browser type and version, and the speed and memory of your machine. The higher the Max Digits, the longer the wait time.
The accuracy of calculations for trigonometric functions assumes that angles are not extremely large. Entering an angle of "1e+10000", for example, might lead to spurious results.
This revision now permits the saving of the results of computations with thousands of digits, and implements several additional functions.
This revision now permits the running of custom javascript code-snippets to allow for custom or repetitive calculations. See here for information.
This project has become quite complex, and thus it is becoming very difficult to find and identify possible problems or errors. If you discover a problem, feel free to post me a message describing it. There is no need for you to identify yourself, but I cannot reply to thank you without contact information.
